The best season for giving company logo knives to your customers is Christmas. At least, that’s the busiest season for knife-giving. But there are a few reasons for other seasons to be the best choice.
Spring seams to be the best season to give pocket knives to farmers and others in the agriculture business. That’s when farmers buy seed and fertilizer, and equipment. The dealers take advantage of that time to give appreciation in the form of gifts. Company logo knives make the perfect gifts.
Summer is the season for everyone to receive a generous gift like a knife. Purchases of all sorts of things increases as the temperature rises.
Fall is for the hunters. If your customers hunt, they would appreciate a good hunting knife or pocket knife. They need to use a knife to field dress the larger animals.
Any season is a good season for giving company logo knives. It really depends on what market your clients are in. Plan ahead, because inventory can be a problem any time of year, especially Christmas.
Tomorrow is “Get to Know Your Customers Day”. How do you interact with your customers from week to week? It depends on what kind of business you have. You may consider these actions tomorrow:
Phone or email your best customers, and ask them how they are using the products they bought from you
Thank your customers using your facebook page, or other social media.
Attend your local chamber of commerce meeting and take the opportunity to make some new contacts, and re-kindle some old ones.
Ask your clients for ideas on how you can improve customer service.
Give your best customers a fruit knife with your company logo. The fruit knife will last a long time, and so will your company logo. Think of how many people will see your knives…Friends, relatives, house guests.
If you own a business, and have customers and employees, you would certainly be interested in increasing your profits. One special way to do this is to show your gratitude to those people using useful, long lasting gifts, such as engraved tools with your corporate logo. These are long lasting because of the materials they are made of, and your logo is laser engraved on the handle. Leatherman tools are perfect examples of this type of gift program. Your customers will appreciate your generosity, and probably buy more from you. Your loyal employees would feel more like family, and be more valuable to you.
Leatherman has a wide variety of inventory, and their tools are made in the USA. Here are some examples:
June is national fruit and vegetable month. What a great time to show your talents with a fruit knife. You can make edible decorations like these with a simple folding knife
that you probably already own. Maybe these ideas will lead to more ideas of your own. If you happen to make a mistake, you can easily make it disappear. Save only the best masterpieces for display at the barbecue table this spring. With a little bit of practice, you will be amazed at what you can do with a bowl of fruit and a fruit knife.
The first Wednesday in June in the USA is National Running Day. It calls
attention to a hobby that has gained popularity over the last 20 years. People have become very health conscious lately. “60 is the new 40”. In the last century a 60 year old man looked 60 years old. Now he looks about 40, because of the new attitude toward health. Every weekend in the summer has a race somewhere near you. Participants don’t mind paying $20 to $75 to run in a group and get some swag. You don’t have to finish in the top three to get cash or a prize. You just have to be in the top 3 in your age bracket and sex bracket. Since there are many age brackets, for both men and women, there are many category winners.
How can you celebrate this day?
Sign up to run or walk in a race. Many races have those two options.
Support a runner or walker.
Sponsor someone to race, if that is an option.
Take a short video of your favorite runner crossing the finish line, then pan over to the clock, to show their time.
Give engraved pocket knives with your company logo to the winners, or to all the participants. They will never forget you.
Great news! Engraved Leatherman Tools aren’t imported from China. They are made in the USA. Some parts are made overseas, but the final assembly is always done in Oregon at the Leatherman factory.
The recent supply chain problems that affect many products are a result of the Covid lockdowns in China. This week, the Advertising Specialy Institute (ASI) reported that “Suppliers say lockdowns in Shanghai and other areas of China are likely to delay restocking of promo products in North America.” The lockdown has created a huge pile-up of cargo ships near the Port of Shanghai. These ships are either waiting to get loaded or unloaded. How long will this last? It depends on the lockdown, and how the Chinese government handles the issue. Fortunately, Leatherman is in pretty good shape at the moment. Many other suppliers like SanMar (according to ASI) have anticipated this problem, and have stocked up on inventory, to above average levels. Other promotional product suppliers that saw this lockdown coming, also are probably prepared to meet customer demand this year.
