In just a few short weeks, the 46th annual National EMS Week will be upon us. During the week of May 17-23, communities nationwide will be finding new ways to show their love and support for their local EMS workers.
Even though we can’t celebrate with a large awards ceremony or rambunctious picnic this year, there are still ways to show that your community appreciates the dedication and bravery of its EMS workers.
Whether your business is open, or closed, or everyone is working remotely, this COVID-19 pandemic is making our lives interesting. I wish there was a quick cure for this virus. There will be a cure, but in the mean time, we just need to wash our hands, and keep our physical distance from other people.
Another issue is the psychological effect on your work force during this lock down. How do you make your employees happy, and help them through this?
Stay in contact with them. Let them know you are there for them, and you are affected as severely as they are.
Remind your employees that this situation is just temporary. When the daily new cases of infection becomes zero, we will all rejoice.
Give them a symbol of your gratitude. Give them company logo knives with your corporate logo and a catch phrase like “Thanks For Your Service–2020”
Even though many of the major holidays have passed, we can still find any day to celebrate with a prime rib dinner. Today is National Prime Rib Day, the best reason to make a yummy flavorful dinner tonight. What exactly is prime rib?
It’s also called a “standing rib roast”
Plan on ¾ lb per person
Cook for 15-20 minutes per pound
Temps for cooking: Medium-rare= 110, Medium= 120, Medium-well=130, Well=140
Now that you know the basics of prime rib, you will also need the proper American-made Cutlery knives in which to cut and serve this yummy cut of beef:
What is your idea of a perfect picnic? An assortment of cheeses, some fruits and veggies, and little sandwiches all laid out on a cozy blanket? Perhaps you’ll throw a bottle of wine in your picnic basket as well. Or maybe you’d rather spend National Picnic Day at a proper picnic table, away from all the bugs! Even though we can’t have large celebratory picnics during this pandemic, you can still escape to your backyard (or even your living room!) with your family and have a fun casual one! Here is the best pocket knife (plus one other favorite) that you will need to make your picnic complete:
If you want to reward your staff for a perfect safety record, or a fantastic production record, you may want to give them Buck knives with your logo. Great idea! You already know that American-made Buck knives will display your company logo forever. Here are some tips on how to make this campaign go fast and easy….
Who’s the one person who keeps your office running smoothly? Is it your secretary, office admin, or administrative professional? They’re all synonyms for that special person whom everyone in the office relies on.
Regardless whether your office admin is working from home, or taking a risk and working in the office, they all need rewarded from time to time. This is the week- it’s Administrative Professionals Week.
Are you wishing to be able to reward all those EMT’s, doctors, nurses, policemen,
firemen who are risking their lives to keep us safe from COVID-19? You can help by giving them a gift that they will use and appreciate. Consider giving personalized pocket knives with your company logo, or with some phrase like “With Our Heartfelt Thanks”, “Thanks For Saving My Husband’s Life”, “Thanks For Your Hours of Dedication to Our Health”.
Today is Farm Animals Day, a welcome distraction from all this coronavirus talk. Reward all of the members of your local farming community today with the best pocket knife to get them through the day- here are our top picks:
The brave people on the “front line” of this viral pandemic are risking their health to take care of us. Fighting an invisible enemy takes more than courage. It takes a faith in God, that He will help you do your job and protect you.
If your non-profit organization or company are looking for a way to show appreciation to these brave heroes, engraved pocket knives can help you to express your appreciation to:
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s)
Other medical care personnel
Grocery store clerks, who are also taking a health risk to feed us
When you think of slicing up a pizza for your family for dinner, you usually reach for the pizza cutter right? Well today calls for an extra tool- it’s Deep Dish Pizza Day, so you will need a mini pizza server as well!
Bet you didn’t know this about #DeepDishPizza:
Invented in the mid-20th century in Chicago
Resembles a pie, with its high edges
Since it’s thicker, it takes twice as long to bake
Due to the longer bake time, the toppings are layered on opposite to a normal pizza- first cheese (so it won’t burn!), then meat and veggies, then sauce.
After you use your American-made Cutlery pizza cutter, you’ll need to grab your mini pizza server to serve your family their thick slices of yummy deep dish pizza.
