Another year has come to a close, and while many of us are thinking of what 2023 will bring and the resolutions we will make, I am just thinking of how thankful I am for a happy and healthy 2022. No, it was not my “best year ever” (or not even close), but I plan to close this year being thankful for all of the blessings that came my way and those to come.
Have you ever been gifted something that you wouldn’t pick out yourself? Have you ever thought, “Oh, my friend/sibling/coworker would actually love this”? Enter National Re-Gifting Day! Today is the day where it’s actually okay to re-wrap those gifts that you don’t really like, and give them to someone else who would love them. But what about pocket knives engraved with “Merry Christmas” or “Best Employee Ever”? Don’t even think of re-gifting those durable, practical, forever-sharp, amazing little gifts. Happy holidays!
Many of you are looking out your windows today, on the Winter Solstice, watching snowflakes fall from the sky. But for those of us in warmer climates, we need this calendar date to remind us that it is, in fact, winter. Engraved Gerber knives are also a good reminder that it is winter. Perhaps you are going hunting or camping for the holidays and need the perfect pocketknife. Maybe you need a last-minute gift for your employees. Whatever the reason, engraved Gerber knives are the safest bet you’ll probably make all year!
knife is intended for each person whose name is engraved on it. The reason for this statement is that some people want their logo on 100 knives, and they call that personalizing. It’s not really personalizing unless each knife has the name of each recipient on it.
If you want your logo engraved on 100 knives, it is more accurate to call that “engraving” or “logo-ing”.
Halloween is 5 days away! If you haven’t done it yet, now is the time to throw together a last-minute costume. Will you go trick-or-treating with your children, or do you have a fun party to go to? If you’re putting together a “Boo Basket” for your customers, don’t forget to include their favorite candy, a gift card to a local lunch spot, and pocket knives engraved with your company logo to help spread the cheer!
Personalized Pocket Knives are persistently pertinent to the advertising efforts of businesses. That’s why business owners order them repeatedly. Why are they pertinent?
Giving a pocket knife or any personalized gift, solidifies the customer-business owner relationship.
The recipient will always remember who gave them the knife.
The pocket knives will last the lifetime of the customer.
They show your logo, and your laser engraved logo will not wear off.
Personalized pocket knives reflect the permanence of your strong company.
Your visible advertising medium will lead to “word of mouth” advertising.
So you like to keep a pocket knife on you at all times. It is handy to open packages, cut string and rope, and get someone out of a seat belt after an accident. When you fly on a commercial airline, what does TSA (Transportation Security Administration) have to say about your habit?
You may not have them in your carry-on bags. The final decision rests with the TSA officer on whether an item will be allowed past the checkpoint.
Since I sell pocket knives, one time I tested the system. When I travel by air, I like to take my fingernail clippers and toenail clippers. In the same shaving pouch I have a small inexpensive multi-knife. It has a small non-locking blade, scissors, and nail file. It is about 2″ closed. I normally put this shaving pouch in my checked bag. This time, I put it in my carry-on bag. Mainly because I was going on a short trip and didn’t need to use a checked bag. Surprise..I was able to go through the checkpoint. It worked that time, but who knows if TSA would allow this knife to pass every time.
What happens if you remember that you have an expensive knife in your pocket, and you are already in the TSA line? It’s too late to put it in your checked bag.
Get out of line and hide it somewhere in the airport, like a flower pot, above a ceiling tile, behind some furniture, or any other place you can think of.
Go outside and bury it in the ground.
On your return trip, your knife might be gone, but it might still be there. It’s better odds than forfeiting it to the TSA agent.
This Friday, September 17 is National Tradesmen Day. These are the people who specialize in certain skills like electricity, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs. Honor these tradesmen by giving them personalized pocket knives with your company logo. They will appreciate them.
Have you ever been in a car emergency and need to break a window or cut a seatbelt? It’s a scary situation that we all hope to never face. But should you ever find yourself there, personalized pocket knives (particularly these rescue knives) will literally be a lifesaver.
Today is #NursesDay, and our nation’s hardworking medical staff deserve a reward for everything they’ve been doing for our communities. What better way to help them save others than with these personalized pocket knives.
Are you wishing to be able to reward all those EMT’s, doctors, nurses, policemen,
firemen who are risking their lives to keep us safe from COVID-19? You can help by giving them a gift that they will use and appreciate. Consider giving personalized pocket knives with your company logo, or with some phrase like “With Our Heartfelt Thanks”, “Thanks For Saving My Husband’s Life”, “Thanks For Your Hours of Dedication to Our Health”.
