How Dakota Knives Gave Birth to Cedar Creek Knives

Dakota Knives (also Dako Knives) were pocket knives with your company logo laser engraved on the handle or blade. They were inexpensive, and made in China for the promotional product business. They were popular because of the quality-to-price ratio was quite high. Then, due to a similarity in trade name to another company, Dakota knives looked for a new line name. It became “Cedar Creek knives.”

They are still made overseas, and are of a high quality because of the dedicated craftsmen. Other products were added to the line, including flashlights and lighters, compasses, multi-tools and tape measures.
