It used to be that Custom Buck Knives meant you could get your company logo engraved on the blade. Or you could get them personalized with the name of each recipient. Those options are still available.
But now Buck has come up with the idea that you can design your own Buck knife. So, you can start with one of their regular knives, and have the company change the color of the blade, the handle, the clip, and the spacer that holds the two handles apart. This is great if you want a knife to match your corporate colors. Beware, Buck doesn’t provide this service for free. You can expect to pay at least 50% more, if you change the makeup of the knife. The possible long term benefit of this program is the power you now have. If you design a super attractive variation, it could become a collector’s item at the next knife show. You could possibly get your money back, and then some.
